The Tale of Buda Kedar Temple:
The origins of Buda Kedar Temple are intertwined with the Mahabharata era. During their search for Lord Shiva post the Kurukshetra battle, the Pandavas encountered Sage Balkhily at Bhrigu Parvat. The sage guided them to the confluence, instructing them to meet an old man meditating there. Upon reaching the spot, the old man vanished, leaving behind a Shivling.
