🕉 About the Destinations: A Journey to the Sacred Source of Serenity

Embark on the transformative Yamunotri–Gangotri Dham Yatra, a spiritual odyssey through the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas, where divinity meets pristine natural beauty. Revered as two of the Chota Char Dhams, Yamunotri and Gangotri are more than destinations — they are portals to inner peace and profound spiritual connection.

🏔 Yamunotri Trek: To the Source of the Sacred Yamuna

Step into the serenity of the Yamunotri Trek, a journey to the origin of the sacred River Yamuna, nestled in the snow-draped mountains of Uttarkashi district. As one of the four sacred Char Dhams, Yamunotri offers a blend of raw Himalayan beauty and timeless spirituality.

The Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, was constructed by Maharani Guleria of Jaipur. Thousands of devotees make this sacred journey to seek her blessings, offering prayers in the divine silence of the mountains.

The trek begins at Jankichatti, a scenic base camp surrounded by lush valleys and snow-clad peaks. The 12-km round-trip trek offers both amateur and experienced trekkers an unforgettable experience through nature’s untouched splendor.

🛕 Feel the spiritual resonance in the crisp mountain air as you walk this ancient trail, with every step bringing you closer to the divine.

❄️ Gangotri Trek: Where the Ganga Begins Her Journey

Continue your divine exploration with the Gangotri Trek, a spiritually and visually captivating journey to the source of the River Ganga. Located at an altitude of 4,400 meters, the trek spans approximately 47 kilometers, unveiling landscapes straight from a dream.

Begin from Rishikesh, the “Gateway to the Himalayas,” and travel to Uttarkashi, the starting point of this sacred adventure. Trek along the pristine Bhagirathi River, through Bhojbasa and beyond, to witness the revered Gangotri Glacier—the womb of the mighty Ganga.

As you ascend, behold the awe-inspiring Neelkanth Peak, Tapovan’s lush meadows, and the soaring Bhagirathi peaks. Each sight is a reminder of the Himalayan grandeur and the river’s divine origin.

🌿 Here, every breath feels like a prayer and every glance is a glimpse of heaven.

Gangotri is not only a vital stop in the Chota Char Dham circuit, but also a sanctuary for those seeking spiritual solitude and nature’s majesty.
